The team at Thai Garden Design recently visited a property in Pattaya. The owner had a wooden deck installed some time ago that had fell into disrepair. He was interested in a long term, low maintenance solution, as the decking served as a housing for an outdoor Jacuzzi that the family were fond of using from time to time.
After discussions he chose an oak coloured, grooved (non slip) wood plastic composite.
Picture above: the original deck, which was left a little worse for wear. The scope of the job was to completely remove the existing deck, and install a new non-rust framework foundation. Any wood that could be saved was re-sanded, and stored.

The new deck design incorporated wider steps, renewed railings (hardwood), tree seating along the back wall (under the palm tree) plus a raised level making it much easier to step into the Jacuzzi. Also a full lighting system was installed.
The Thai Garden Design team also extended the new decking into other areas of the garden, meaning more space for relaxation and the general patio. A unique design of diagonal boarding and outer borders make sure this new decking looks really special.
