Thai Garden Design recently were involved in the design and installation of a tortoise enclosure for a couple residing in Bangkok.
The tortoises were required their own home on the balcony, and so the team after discussions with the owner learned lots about ‘tortoise friendly plants’ and produced a proposal for the build of the enclosure. The finished product can be seen in the picture below.
The new enclosure has high sides, so the tortoises are confided, friendly herbs and plants that will grow and the tortoises can feed on, a water bowl and some decorative rocks and pebbles.
Tall yellow palms were also positioned in concrete planters at the far end of the balcony, to offer shade across the enclosure. Another successful project by the Thai Garden Design team.
