Thai Garden Design have installed hundreds of different concrete based terrace and driveway structures throughout Thailand. In this example below, the Bangkok-based owner required more accessible space for him and his family towards the front of their home. They already had enough grass around the side, and so desired more space to set up tables and chairs, to use as a ‘non-grass’ sociable area.
The team matched the colour and tile design of the existing sandwash driveway, and ensured the concrete base was built to last. A pebble border softens the edges, and mixes well with the outer planting.
