Pornchai Garden received a request from an American Expat located in Pranburi, Hua Hin, for some advise on their existing small pond at the back of their garden. The pond had been included in the house build, but it was evident that not much thought had been given to the area, as it was plain and without any real direction. The owner wanted this to be a nice feature, as their garden sala was close by and the view was currently wasted.
The owner had noticed some ponds and designs on the www.thaigardendesign.com site, and wanted to recreate something similar for his pond. So the team got to work.
The finished feature has been rebuilt as a natural waterfall, with planting along the back, and the girl statue has been positioned to face the garden sala. The sides of the pond were painted, and rocks were cemented around the outside to make the overall pond look larger, and more pleasing to the eye.
