The Livistona genus contains over 30 species, all own very distinctive, spikey leaves, which help them to really stand out amongst other foliage and treescape.
They thrive in full sun but also do well in partial shade. They are a great accompaniment when creating a tropical walkway, and can really improve rockscape, or less interesting low lying foliage.
They are originally native to Southern and South East Asia and Australia.
