The team at Thai Garden Design recently completed this impressive Koi Pond and Waterfall at a Family Home located at Nichada Park, Central Bangkok. As can be seen from the ‘before’ picture below, the garden area was just a tipping area for the building works being completed.
The team planned and designed a large Koi Pond, with Waterfall facing the main home, including filtration system.
The final pond itself is nearly one meter deep, and over 40 SQM, making a wonderful statement of tropical beauty, to whoever visits the home. The team also completed tropical planting and pathways around the rest of the large house.
The concrete lined pond was covered with a black HDPE layer, so the Japanese Koi really contrast clearly and brilliantly, giving the pond life, movement and colour.
The family were extremely happy with the final pond, which is unique and a great place to relax and unwind.
