Not exactly world renowned, the Rose Garden Riverside in Nakhon Pathom Province is still an excellent example of modern Thai landscaping, architecture and style.
The 70-acre botanical park is located on the Ta Chine River, just North West of Bangkok. The Rose Gardens is an excellent destination for tourists and visitors, who are able stay on the grounds and enjoy the many different forms of entertainment, relaxation, accommodation and culture tours that are preserved at the venue.
There are Thai antique houses on the grounds that are entirely made of teak and have been beautifully restored to their original glory, plus, the riverside views and landscaping will keep all garden fans transfixed as you walk through the many promenades.
There are also excellent restaurant facilities located at the riverside, and lots of traditional Thai shops and places to buy gifts. There is even a small river market on one of the many little streams that flow through the grounds.
For all golfers, there are also golf facilities within the grounds with some excellent golfing packages to tempt either die hard golfers or amateurs to the sport.
But mainly, if you are interested in tropical gardening, or are just a fan of Thai design, architecture and culture, make sure you spend at least a day or two at the Rose Gardens in Nakhon Pathom Province.
Thailand really knows how to make you feel comfortable with their ladscaping and home designs. Very relaxing.
