Benjasiri Park is located next to the large Emporium Shopping Complex between Soi's 22-24, and is just a few minutes walk from BTS Phrom Phong in the heart of Sukhumvit. It is a welcome green refuge from the traffic noise and bustle of Bangkok.
Like so many of the parks and gardens in Thailand there are many interesting sculptures dotted around the park, refreshment stalls, and lots of places to sit on either on the ground or benches.
For those looking for activity, there are badminton and basketball facilities, or you can join in with the morning and late afternoon jogging enthusiasts who use the park.
There is also a pond and a childrens corner for the little ones.
The park spreads over 29-rai, and was originally donated as a gift to commemorate the 60th birthday of Queen Sirikit, and so is often known as 'Queen's Park'.
The park is a favourite visiting spot for all who visit and live in Bangkok.
