In this example, the team are working with a number of customers within the same estate in Hua Hin (Le Lua Resort, Hua Hin).
The word spread, and Thai Garden Design have completed a number of dream tropical gardens in the same resort.
In this case, the plot is a good size and the customers wanted a modern and tropical feel, without too much clutter. As there was no perimeter wall planned, the team proposed to use a dense ficus hedge, planted at a size of 2m to begin, so, instant cover from the start.
The garden plan included full tropical planting, earth levels with grading, automatic lighting system and an automatic sprinkler system.
As the customers are often in other parts of Asia, it was important to have these things automatic and controllable.
Full Garden Design and Implementation
As part of the automatic sprinkler system, the team also installed a top of the range underwater tank, guaranteed for 20 years. By opting for an underground tank, the owners free up space, and can place the tank in the optimum position, close to other utilities and power suppliers.
Pathways, tropical plants and trees, including some large species of Wax Palms, Franigpani and Dracaena loureiri, were sourced, transported and planted by the Thai Garden Design team.
The customers were extremely happy with the final results, as they were unable to travel, due to the 2020 Covid Pandemic, the entire was built in their absence, with continued communication via email and Whatsapp (plus some positive interactions from their new neighbours).
