The before photo of this project says it all. This job represents a Complete Plot Design – and an Amazing Landscape Transformation.
Including guest home, pool, and tropical garden – the owner decided to invest in the plot next door to his home on a well known estate in Hua Hin, Thailand.
Building of the house and pool began first, with sprinkler system, retaining walls (to create higher planting levels, for privacy) and installation of trees, plants and grass concluding the project.
Due to the plot being on a lower part of a slope, surrounding houses would command a clear view into the garden, so along one whole side a matching retaining wall was constructed, and planted with tall, dense planting.
A combination of MacArthur palms, lipstick palms, lady palms and heliconia were used along the perimeter.
Around the pool, the owners were fond of coconut trees (the edible types) with a mixture of ground covers and shrubs, to create a designed resort style garden.
A Hunter sprinkler system was installed, along with garden lighting illuminating the taller trees.
