Thai Garden Design have been working hard to produce this Beautiful Renovated Pond and Garden, at a family home in the Hills of Hua Hin.
The new owners had moved into a lovely home that was in need of building, interior and garden renovations.
The existing garden was tired, with old plants, randomly planted. The general feeling was worn, and in need of serious re-design and professional assistance.
An old pond next to the main entrance of the main home, was filled in with soggy gravel and soil.
A defunct filter system laid partially installed to the side, with an ugly pond wall facing everyone who arrived at the home. There was room for vast improvements!
After several submitted designs and discussions on plants with the owners agreed to go ahead and a date was set.
Implementation of the garden design
For around the sides and central sections of the home, the grass was removed and replaced with modern attractive stepping concrete pavers and an attractive pebble rock garden and plants.
The garden sprinkler system was revamped, as well as all planted areas of the garden. An array of tropical plants and trees were planted, to add colour, depth and scent.
These included pandanus, lady palms, a large dragon tree beside the pond, lipstick palms (for height and decoration), agaves for low maintenance, architectural theme, and heliconia for height, plus various palms and shrubs.
Another great project completed by the Thai Garden Design team. The owners were extremely happy with the outcome, as they had tried to work with other contractors, with zero success.
