Thai Garden Design designed and installed this new wooden BBQ deck and rock garden terrace for an Expat homeowner in Hua Hin who wanted something a little bit special. The before 'shot' below shows there was a diagonal pathway leading to a separate building on the owners grounds.
The new wooden deck now joins the pool terrace to the separate building, acting as a great place to house a BBQ, or a table and some dining chairs. The foundation for the deck is a piled, four inch reinforced concrete slab, sloped into an existing drainage system.
A unique pebble and crazy paved terrace leads to the new decking. Deck lights have also been installed which are connected to the existing lighting system, so can be turned on using the same switch and on the same timer.
The Thai Garden Design team have now transformed what was a plain area into an attractive, usable space. Low maintenance planting and planters also came as part of the package.
