The Thai Garden Design team just partnered with Sweet Poppy Cafe, a brand new cafe concept in Bangkok. The new Sweet Poppy Cafe concept offers patrons a safe and super fun environment for children, with modern, healthy cuisine choices.
The Thai Garden team were set to the task of designing and constructing a living green wall around the main drinks counter of the new restaurant.
An Amazing, Attractive Feature for Any Landscape …
The green wall is double-sided, and quite large, measuring 6m wide, and with a 3m height. The wall was to be created using only low maintenance plants, as well as including an automatic watering system.
The framework to the vertical garden was installed two weeks before the plants, which were delivered and installed two days before the opening of the restaurant.
The finished green wall is a real sight to behold. The mix of tropical plants offer an array of colour and foliage, ensuring all areas of the wall are interesting and eye-catching. The wall itself is built around the counter, and so a catchment trough was installed at the base, to catch the irrigation water.
