Landscaped Courtyard Garden for Bangkok Hotel

This new courtyard in a Bangkok hotel was a grim site; hard ground, no planting, a wasted space. The owners asked Thai Garden Design to re-design and re-landscape the area to make it an attractive place for new patrons of the hotel.

The design team advised the client to use a concrete paver that allows grass to grow through, therefore keeping a sturdy hardscape, albeit a green and natural one.

A pergola covered seating area was fully designed and constructed by the TGD team, along with a vibrant planting scheme. Treescape was also configured to block unnattractive views of neighbouring eyesores, and additional seating around the new landscape creates a welcoming atmosphere.

The new garden is now a shaded, cooler place to visit and relax, and has become an excellent asset to the new hotel, whose visitors are greeted with this new pleasant landscape.
