Thai Garden Design recently turned this unused, overgrown area at the back of a customers house in Bangkok, into an easy-to-access, low maintenance herb garden, with three planters specifically for growing Thai herbs.
As this part of the landscape is close by to the indoor kitchen area, it is a great place to keep and grow useful herbs and cooking ingredients.
The laterite brick and pebble terrace has a layer of weed fabric installed to keep weeds at bay, and the three two meter long planters are made from cement board wood material, which won't deteriorate when regularly in contact with water (sprinklers have also been installed, as part of a larger system running through the rest of the landscape).
So don't put up with ugly or bare parts within your Thai garden, email ben@thaigardendesign.com for a chat about your various ideas. We can offer full garden and landscape plans and designs, ideas, installation and quotation and estimates service.
