The team at Thai Garden Design recently constructed this rock wall around an existing pond at a home in Pattaya, Thailand. The old wall was beginning to weaken, and so had to be removed completely, which the team did. In it's place, the team constructed this new wall from a rock sourced by the owners. The new wall reaches around the entire pond, and spills out into the garden scape.
The team also took to improving the existing pond filter, which was far too small for the size of the pond. In it's place, the team dug and built a new filter, appropriately sized for the size of the pond, and filled it with the coral filter medium, matala matting and a new UV light, to filter the water properly and screen out algae.
The filter, located around the back of the main pond and hidden from the house, was covered with a redwood decking, broken into three sections to give easier access to each section of the filter.
