The Dracaena reflexa, also popularly referred to as Pleomele reflexa and 'Song of India' is a striking looking ornamental plant, noticeably for its narrow evergreen leaves with bright outlines or fills. The plant is actually a tropical tree originally from Madagascar, and
usually stretches to between 4-5 metres in height in good conditions.
The Dracaena is a large genus that includes many plants of varying
sizes, character and leaf colourations, but the Song of India is
among it's most vibrant and popular.
On any landscape, this plant makes an excellent accent or border plant. It is also extensively used as a house plant.
